D-STATCOM Mathematical Modeling and System Simulation Based on Direct Current Control
Distribution Static Synchronous Compensator(D-STATCOM) is an important electrical equipment for users.It can effectively solve the problems of distribution network such as voltage fluctuation and flicker,three-phase voltage unbalance and harmonic pollution.In this article the D-STATCOM dynamic mathematical model is built according to the instantaneous reactive power theory,and the D-STATCOM control system is designed by direct current control method.Based on mathematical models and control system described,a D-STATCOM simulation model is build.Simulation results show that,as described in this article,the D-STATCOM based on direct current control has a good dynamic performance.
