The Design of an Adjustable Power Factor Switch Power Supply Based on Program Control
Because of the distortion of input current, the input current of switch power supply has a great mount of harmonic. Not only the power factor of switch power supply is low, but also it makes pollution to power network. In order to solving the deficiency of the conventional switch power supply, a semi-intelligent adjustable power factor switch power supply system based on single chip processor and FPGA is designed. The synchronous rectifying technique applied in the PFC circuit solves the crossover distortion of the input voltage and realizes the seamless rectifying of the input voltage. The program control system achieves to set the power factor of the circuit and has an over-current protection function, which can monitor and display the parameters of the circuit. The testing results show that the power factor of the switch power supply system with the efficiency is over 96% and high efficiency is adjustable.
