Reliability Compliance Test for Electrical Energy Data Acquisition Equipments
During the construction of electrical energy data acquisition system, to achieve full acquisition of the data and ensure the security and integrity of the data, acquisition equipments are required to be highly reliable under different operating environments. In order to verify whether the reliability of acquisition equipments meets the industrial requirement, reliability compliance test needs to be carried out. The purpose of this work is to develop reliability compliance test methods for acquisition equipments with multiple stress factors and multiple failure modes. Firstly, reliability model of acquisition equipments was established, which is a series model. Any functional unit fails, the acquisition equipment will fail. Failure criteria and main failure modes were given. Then, to shorten the time and reduce the cost, temperature and humidity accelerated life testing was performed, using time curtailed test. The stress levels, sample numbers, accelerated model, the minimum test time and test method were determined. Finally, for each stress level and each failure mode, the parameters of life distribution were estimated by regression; each failure time was extrapolated to normal use condition, and the parameters of life distribution under normal use condition were estimated; the cumulative distribution and the life characteristics of acquisition equipments can be derived. Reliability compliance test had been performed for 48 acquisition equipments, and the result shows that the reliability is 0.8403 after 5 years, not meeting the requirement with reliability 0.9.
