The realization of modulation strategy can improve the output voltage range and quality of inverter, then, the output speed range and torque characteristics of motor will be increased. A novel over modulation strategy was proposed in the condition of some issues, which contain the modulation region of space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) algorithm in dual three phase induction motor is limited, and districted to implement is complex, a large memory usage and so on. The strategy is achieved throughout the whole over-modulation region without multi-partition and dual control angle calculation. At the same time, it makes a linear relationship between the ratio of parameters and the modulation, in which way it can realize the smooth transition from linear region to twelve step waves. Then, the digital realization will be more simple and efficient. Simulation and hardware experiment verify the correctness and feasibility of the algorithm.
