为解决模块化多电平变流器用于需要无功补偿的单相系统时直流侧电压稳定问题，本文首先介绍了单相模块化多电平变流器（Modular multilevel converter，MMC）的工作原理。然后通过对MMC建模，分析了单相MMC内部电压不平衡会造成环流，在此基础上提出了基于环流控制的稳压方法和MMC子模块电容的均压方法。在上述均压和稳压方法下，实现了MMC补偿单相系统的无功功率，并提出了一种基于T/6的虚拟三相法检测单相负载无功电流。最后，通过Matlab/Simulink仿真验证了上述控制方法的有效性。

To solve the DC side voltage balancing problem of MMC-SVG under single phase, this paper first explained the operating principles of Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC). By building the math models of MMC, the paper analyzed the reason of generating current which flowed through MMC. Based on that conclusion, this paper proposed a voltage balancing method and a voltage averaging method to maintain the voltage of every capacitor. In addition, the paper presented a faster reactive current detecting method to realize the MMC-STATCOM. Finally, the Matlab/Simulink simulation indicated these control methods are reliable.
