With the traditional phase-shift control strategy using in isolated full-bridge bi-directional DC/DC converter , power circulating flow phenomena is exist. Because of the difference of the Converter’s characteristics, the primary side of the transformer will cause the DC component. Magnetic bias problem will be caused by the DC component finally. According to this phenomena, a new kind of PWM plus phase-shift control strategy is put forward in this paper. The phenomena of power circulating flow and magnetic bias are controlled completely with that strategy. The control process of magnetic bias has been given. Each modal’s running characteristics in the isolated full-bridge bi-directional DC/DC converter has been analyzed and the model has also been built in Psim software. The simulation results show that the new kind of PWM plus phase-shift control strategy using in the isolated full-bridge bi-directional DC/DC converter can restrain the power circulating flow and magnetic bias. The correctness and?feasibility of the new method has been verified.
