Design and implementation of a remote access system of virtual terminal for the smart substation
For the current situation and problems of operation and maintenance to usually use traditional local maintenance mode at the smart substation, the paper analyzed the technical characteristics of power communication network and station equipment in depth and proposed a design scheme of remote access system for the smart substation. Through the proxy servers at substation and the browse servers at host station end, the system builds a virtual terminal for the users at the host station, and using communication protocol proxy, dual-link communication control, data encryption etc, system implements secure remote access for station equipment. This scheme provides a means of remote operation and maintenance for the smart substation, and it has a certain reference value to improve efficiency and reduce costs for operation and maintenance of substation.
