Several questions in the establishment of PQM device testing standard that need to notice
With the increasing of value for the power quality between the power supply and load, there are lots of power quality monitor (PQM) devices installed in both sides, and in order to ensure the reliability and validity of the monitoring results, it is necessary to establish a PQM device testing standard. This paper is based on the concepts of measure, testing, test and inspection, and the objective and main scope of the standard is specified though the analysis of the testing for PQM devices and the tested PQM devices in different cases. Finally, it points out several issues that need to notice and proposed some principles or suggestions in order to start a discussion of the testing standards.
