Based on the HEMS, combining the load scheduling of smart grid, an Android-and-Java-based household intelligent electricity management system was designed for home users. The system is based on cloud storage and communication technologies. Adopting typical C/S architecture, a system framework composed of the client APP, the server daemon and database and the small intelligent monitoring devices was built, and the corresponding communication and data interfaces were designed. In this paper, each function module of the software program is introduced in detail, and all kinds of the user oriented power consumption information graphs are displayed. With the concept of active distribution network, this paper analyses the positive effect of the intelligent power management on reducing the peak and valley difference of household electricity through a typical household example which have micro sources, loads and energy storage devices. The application effect shows that the household intelligent electricity management system can conduct synthetically optimal scheduling on the new active household load, which is promising.
