Research on Accurate Measurement of DC Standard Resistance Power Variation
A method to accurately measure power variation (current dependence) of a resistance standard is presented. Using a Direct current comparator ( DCC) resistance bridge and a standard ratio device with ratio 1:1, they can double the test current and four times the power accurately. After three measurements compared to two resistance standards, the change of resistance caused by power change is measured. Examples of 10 Ω power variation is given by this method and the result is analyzed. Results show that the variation of resistance power is two times curve, which has similarity with the resistance temperature curve.
