Comparative Analysis of High Frequency Deicing and AC Short-circuit Deicing
High-frequency melting method has a good prospect as a new deicing method. This method not only increase the skin effect of deicing current, thus heat focus on the surface of wire and make heat exchange and transfer.with ice layer. And using the dielectric loss heat produced by ice polarization directly in the high frequency electric field. This paper mainly focus on principle,critical current,deicing time comparative analysis. And use finite element analysis software ANSYS simulate for the above three aspects, and ANSYS finite element analysis identified the high frequency de-icing method compared with the AC short-circuit de-icing method has advantages such as efficiency, lower critical de-icing currents and less deicing time.
