Rural users scattered, leakage investigation work is difficult to ensure the reliability of power supply in rural area, the emergence of a large number of accepted without surrender or around the phenomenon, every year by the leakage caused by fire and casualties have occurred. The leakage checking system existing at the same time cross section investigation scope is small, so the investigation work is time-consuming and laborious, and it is difficult to find the occasional, leakage hidden point. In order to solve this problem, we according to the measurement of electric power and electric power monitoring tradition, and combined with the new networking technology developed distribution network leakage investigation device based on the Internet of things. The device is composed of a plurality of collector, handheld mobile terminal and the server is composed of three parts, can achieve a large area at the same time. The investigation leakage experiments verify the feasibility of the device, the experimental results show that the device can quickly troubleshoot leakage fault, eliminate leakage risks, ensure reliable power supply .
