Hybrid Compensation Method and Verification of ICPT System Based on LCC Topology
In this paper, two compensation structures of LCC/S and LCC/P are proposed for the four basic compensation structures of inductive wireless power transmission (ICPT) system which can not adjust the system transmission power when the load is fixed. The combination of high-order LCC structure and first-order series/parallel structure can not only regulate the transmission power of ICPT system, but also reduce the use of reactive power device and reduce the complexity of the system compared with double LCC structure. In this paper, the structural principle diagrams of LCC/S and LCC/P based on the mutual inductance model are given first, the system characteristics such as load characteristic and power characteristic of the two structures are deduced. The feasibility of soft-switching, transmission power and transmission efficiency were compared and analyzed, which proves the feasibility of the proposed theory. Finally, this paper simulates the output power characteristics when the operating frequency is offset, which provides the idea for the compensation design of ICPT system.
