Simulation Analysis on Induced Current in Manganese-copper of Energy Meter Under Power Frequency Magnetic Field
As a current sampling device of single-phase smart electric energy meter, the manganese-copper shunt is susceptible to the induced current by the interference of the frequency magnetic field, which affects the current on the metering load of the electric energy meter, thus affecting the accuracy of the meter. In this paper, the physical principle of inducing current of manganese-copper shunt in power frequency magnetic field is first theoretically analyzed. Then the finite element simulation of manganese-copper shunt is performed by using Altair's FLUX software. Finally, Frequency magnetic field induced current, the simulation results with the measured results for comparative analysis to verify the accuracy of the simulation results.
