Research on Test Method of Type B Residual Current Operating Characteristic Based on Digital Constant Current Technology
This paper proposes a type B residual current operating characteristic test method based on digital constant current technology. Arbitrary waveform constant current technique is be used to generate the arbitrary waveform residual current with a frequency of DC-1kHz and an amplitude of 0-10A, and this method can record the operating time and operating current of the residual current protector. This paper uses the DDS to generate an arbitrary waveform digital signal, and outputs an arbitrary waveform residual current after the digital-to-analog conversion and power amplifier circuit. In this paper, current closed-loop control strategy and digital control method are used to realize constant current output and test parameter acquisition and reach the output accuracy to 0.2%. The method solves the problem that a complex residual current waveform needs to be generated in the operation characteristic test of the type B residual current protector. The residual current operating characteristic tester is designed and experiments show that the tester can output high-precision arbitrary waveform residual current with good dynamic characteristics, and with the advantages of small size and low cost. This method meets the requirements of the residual current operating characteristics test, and the purpose is to feed the waveforms to an RCD device to help develop new RCD hardware and software.
