Ultra-short-term Dispatch Strategy of Flexible Load and Storage Energy Based on Model Predictive Control
In order to improve the accommodation of renewable energy, this paper proposes a load control strategy based on model predictive control (MPC) in ultra-short-term. This strategy not only considers the reliability of the power system and the life of the energy storage system, but also increases the constraint of adjustable power of flexible load. Based on the ultra-short-term regulation of flexible load and energy storage, the capability of rapid response to large fluctuations of the wind turbine and photovoltaic (PV) is improved, which increases renewable energy accommodation. Considering the constraints, the ultra-short-term dispatch strategy based on MPC aims to acquire the maximum proportion of renewable energy. In the simulation example, an industrial park is taken as the research object, and optimal objective of MPC is solved by the dynamic matrix control algorithm. Compared with the non-short-term regulation method, the proportion of renewable energy consumption is increased by 5.37% when the ultra-short-term regulation strategy is adopted, which proves the effectiveness of the proposed regulation strategy.
