Technical Prospect of A New Generation of Smart Energy Meter in the Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things environment
With proposing the construction plan of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things , As an important sensing device at the end of the power IoT perception layer,The technical function of the smart energy meter is given more requirements. A new generation of smart energy meters needs to take into account the traditional metering functions and the business needs of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things environment. The technical development direction of smart meter is to ensure the intelligent upgrade of the sensing layer device, realize the full connection of the business terminal, and improve the edge intelligence level. Based on the IR46 international standard, this paper explores the technical development direction of the new generation of smart energy meter from the perspective of the metering characteristics of the energy meter, the diversified development direction of the power meter function, and the application of the lightweight embedded operating system.
