Status evaluation of smart meter based on entropy weight-normal cloud model
meter reasonably for proper maintenance. Taking product properties and operating characteristics of the smart meter into consideration, the status evolution model of smart meter was established which combines operation reliability, running performance, grid operating environment and outside running environment. Weights of assessment indices were determined by means of entropy weight method. Normal cloud model was applied to solve the quantitative issue of evaluation indices comprehensively evaluate the operating status of smart meters. Case analysis shows that the cloud memberships of every index of different working status can be calculated. According to the final membership, it is essential to arrange inspection strategy for each work status and eliminate running hidden troubles immediately.
