In order to study the corresponding relationship between the flying Atlas of ultrasonic partial discharge detection and foreign particles in the GIS equipment under the operating voltage, and solve the problem that it is difficult to judge the status of foreign particles in the field of partial discharge charged detection. This paper analyzes the mechanical characteristics of different types of foreign particles according to the actual GIS equipment structure, and analyzes 126-363kV by simulation the flight characteristics of foreign particles under the operation voltage of GIS equipment are studied. The quick check method of the flight characteristics of foreign particles is studied. The equivalent model of physical field simulation is established to determine the correspondence between the particle trajectory and the simulation results. The research and application results show that: under the operation voltage, the flying jump voltage of foreign matters in GIS equipment of different manufacturers is related to the type and size of particles, and the characteristics extracted by the quick check method of foreign matters'' flying characteristics are consistent with the flight path of particles detected in the laboratory. Two field application cases prove that the quick check method of flying characteristics can quickly realize the state judgment of particles in the equipment, and the disintegration results are obvious to show the accuracy of the field application of the quick check method of flight characteristics.
