Evaluation of Uncertainty for Dynamic Values Based on Mapping Constants
Dynamic values always changed and cannot be observed repetitively which leaded to measurement uncertainty were hard to calculated. To solve the problem, dynamic values were mapped into constants with an algorithm derived in the paper so that repeated observation can be realized. It was analyzed in the paper that the assumptions in the algorithm derivation, the influence of parameters to the evaluation and the influence of uncertainty of dynamic values to the reproducibility of a signal. Simulation was completed in MATLAB which illustrated the effectiveness of the Mapping Constant algorithm (MC algorithm) in evaluation of uncertainty for typical dynamic values. The actual data from a recorder was analyzed to verify the practicability of the MC algorithm. The MC algorithm can be used in evaluation of uncertainty of oscilloscopes, recorders, digital multifunction meters and other devices based on samples.
