With the popularization of electric vehicles, a large number of charging stations are connected to the power distribution network. In order to evaluate the impact of the charging process on the power quality of the distribution network, a comprehensive power quality assessment method is proposed. Firstly, the appropriate power quality indicators are selected to establish an evaluation model. For the unity of subjective and objective weighting, the analytic hierarchy process and the entropy weight method are used to comprehensively weight the power quality indicators, which not only meets the actual needs, but also reflects the objective information of the indicator data. Finally, the radar map evaluation method is applied to the power quality assessment, and the evaluation object is graphically analyzed to directly show the deterioration degree of the overall power quality and the deterioration process of each indicators in different periods. This method can provide decision support for power quality optimization. The feasibility of the method is verified by the analysis of simulation examples.
