Integrated coil design for EV wireless charging systems using LCC compensation topology
The two-sided LCC topology provides an efficient compensation method for the wireless charging of EV. However, two compensation coils occupy a large volume.In order to solve the problem of electric vehicle charging system volume increase and improve the efficiency of transmission system, this paper puts forward a new integration method of coil, and to integrate the dual polarity compensation coil into single polarity in the main coil, using 3 d finite element analysis tool ANSYS to optimize the new electromagnetic coupling mechanism, Maxwell by optimizing the length-width ratios of compensating coil to eliminate redundant coupling coefficient in the system, so as to improve the transmission efficiency of the system.The experimental results show that the wireless charging system using the integrated coil method is less affected by the horizontal or vertical offset of the two coils, and the transmission efficiency of the system is higher.
