Aiming at the problem of shielding effectiveness of airborne cables, the influence of different shielding termination methods and different termination processes on crosstalk between cables is studied. Firstly, based on the definition of shield’s transfer impedance, the concept of equivalent transfer impedance of the pigtail and the overall transfer impedance of the cable are proposed, and their analytical expressions are given to evaluate the decisive influence of grounding pigtail on cable shielding performance. Based on CST simulation platform, SPICE parameters are extracted from each characteristic interval of the cable, and the cable numerical model is established through cascade simulation to study the influence mechanism of different terminations. Finally, the validity and accuracy of the model are verified by the experimental platform. The experimental results show that the experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation results except the resonance frequency, and the deviations are within 3dB.
