Research on Low Frequency Oscillation Mode and Influencing Factors of Inter-area Power Grid Containing Wind Power Based on EWT and Improved Prony Algorithm
The inertia of the inter-area power system reduced following the increasement of the wind power penetration rate . And at the same time, due to the increasing random volatility and uncertainty of wind power, the fluctuation range of transmission power between regional power grids are expanded. The identification method and influencing factors of the low-frequency oscillation mode of the regional power grid containing wind power need to be studied in depth. The low-frequency oscillation mode identification method based on the empirical wavelet transform and improved Prony method are proposed. And the influences of the change of inertia of the power grid and the fluctuation of wind power on the inter-area oscillation mode are analyzed in the extended four-machine two-area system. Based on the study of the influence of virtual inertia control parameters of doubly-fed wind turbines on the oscillation mode under the limit of transmission power, a virtual inertia parameter setting value for suppressing low-frequency oscillations of regional power grids containing wind power is proposed.
