A high power rectifier circuit with compact and high-efficiency based on Schottky diode
A high-power microwave rectifier circuit with compact structure, high efficiency and frequency of 2.45GHz is proposed. Four HSMS-282P Schottky diode Bridges are used to design two microwave rectifier circuits, which have symmetrical structure and share one matching network and harmonic suppression network, so that the input power capacity can be increased without decreasing the rectifier efficiency. The application of the terminal short-circuit microstrip line in parallel between the diode and the ground and the addition of fan open branch in the radio frequency division make the rectifier diode ’s second and third harmonic suppression, avoid the input low-pass filter design, and achieve miniaturization and rectification efficiency improvement. The real object was made under ADS software simulation and optimization. The measured results showed that the input power was 38dBm and the rectification efficiency from microwave to DC reached over 70%, which size of the circuit is 45mm×58mm. Compared with other high-power rectifier circuits, the design method of the circuit is simple, small circuit size, large power capacity and high-efficiency, more suitable for high power and high voltage power supply system.
