Economic operation of integrated energy system containing power to heat and hydrogen device
To solve the impact of surplus power on the micro-grid, it is necessary to configure energy storage devices for distributed generation to improve the economic performance of the integrated energy system. The conversion of surplus power into hydrogen has been proved to be an effective treatment method. However, the traditional efficiency of converting power into hydrogen is usually less than 70%, and the heat loss in the process is ignored. On this basis, a power to hydrogen technology considering heat recovery was introduced, named the power to heat and hydrogen technology. The technology was applied to the electrolytic cell, and an integrated energy system model containing power to heat and hydrogen device was proposed. Meanwhile, aiming at minimizing the cost of power purchase, gas purchase and the penalty of surplus power, considering the temperature characteristics of the power to heat and hydrogen energy device together, three different working scenarios are designed. Using the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm, it could be seen that the transaction cost of the system was reduced by 14800 RMB after the introduction of the power to heat and hydrogen energy device. The example results show that the addition of the power to heat and hydrogen energy device can effectively improve the economy of the integrated energy system, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed model.
