Review and prospect of frequency modulation technology for new energy structure
With the great leap forward development of wind power in China in recent years, the current power system is moving towards the goal of building a high proportion of renewable energy system. At the same time, the proportion of traditional power sources represented by thermal power generation in the power system is gradually decreasing, which leads to the prominent problems of the decline of power system inertia and the weakening of frequency modulation ability. Therefore, this paper deeply excavates a variety of potential frequency modulation resources under the new power system, and combs the ways and principles of wind turbines, photovoltaic units, load resources and energy storage system participating in system frequency modulation from the different links of source load storage. On this basis, from the perspective of considering single resources and considering multiple resources to participate in the system frequency modulation, this paper summarizes the problems of wind power storage participating in the system optimization operation, and compares and analyzes the treatment of uncertain factors in the optimization model and the solution algorithm of the model. Finally, how to improve the scheduling mechanism, reasonably arrange new energy units, load resources and frequency modulation reserve capacity of energy storage system in the optimal scheduling of power system is prospected.
