Study on strategy for stabilizing wind power fluctuations based on dual energy storage
Aiming at the problem of frequent charging and discharging when energy storage stabilizes wind power fluctuations, a control strategy for suppressing power fluctuations based on dual energy storage is proposed. Based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD), the reference value of the grid-connected power of wind power and the total output power of the dual energy storage system is obtained, and the bidirectional smoothing ability index of the double energy storage is defined for the imbalance of charging and discharging energy in the smoothing process of double energy storage, and the state of charge optimization control is designed based on fuzzy control, the final output power is obtained and the power distribution of the dual energy storage is obtained, and the state of charge optimization results of energy storage under different initial charge states are compared. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed control strategy not only effectively smooths out the fluctuation of wind power, but also reduces the number of charging and discharging switching times of energy storage, and improves the bidirectional smoothing ability.
