A Method for Locating Small Current Multipoint Polymorphic Single Phase Grounding Fault Sections in 10kV Distribution Lines for New Power Systems
In the new power system, the stability and safety of 10kV distribution lines are crucial. Single phase to ground fault is a common type of fault in such systems, and its location has always been a technical challenge due to the small short-circuit current and difficulty in direct measurement. Therefore, a method for locating small current multi-point polymorphic single-phase grounding fault sections in 10kV distribution lines is studied. Using fault indicators to collect fault signals from 10kV distribution lines, combined with EMD based wavelet thresholding method, denoise the fault signals and extract sample entropy for each section of 10kV distribution lines from the fault signals. Calculate the average sample entropy difference based on sample entropy. Sort the average sample entropy difference of all sections from largest to smallest, with the section corresponding to the maximum value being the section with small current, multi-point, and polymorphic single-phase grounding faults. The experimental results show that the segment localization results obtained by the research method are consistent with the actual set fault point positions, proving that the localization method studied is accurate.
