Research on Differential Protection Control Method for Distribution Networks with DG Based on 5G Communication Technology
A distribution network differential protection structure based on 5G communication technology is proposed to address the communication delay and delay jitter issues in existing differential protection methods for distribution networks with distributed power sources, the 5G communication technology is combined with an improved Dynamic Time Warping algorithm for differential protection in distribution networks with distributed power sources. Optimizing the Dynamic Time Warping Algorithm by Introducing weighted functions and global path constraint strategies, improve protection reliability and calculation speed.The superiority of the proposed protection method was verified through example analysis.The results indicate that, proposed method can quickly perform protection in differential protection, effectively reducing communication delay、delay jitter and protection action time, capable of adapting to future complex distribution network structures with distributed power sources, provide certain assistance for the development of 5G+smart electricity.
