Reactive power compensation configuration and optimized operation to enhance the reactive power regulation capability of wind farms
To address the issue of poor reactive power regulation capability in wind farms, a reactive power compensation optimization configuration model is proposed to enhance the steady-state reactive power regulation capability of wind farms by fully leveraging the regulation advantages of capacitor banks and phase-shifting cameras at different time scales. Based on the configuration results, propose a two-stage reactive power operation strategy of day ahead real-time to ensure that the wind farm has real-time reactive power regulation capability, and analyze the voltage support capability of the configuration scheme. The calculation results show that the optimized reactive power configuration scheme can effectively improve the reactive power regulation ability of wind farms during steady-state operation, and the phase-shifting camera can effectively increase the short-circuit capacity of grid connection points, improve system strength, alleviate transient voltage drop, and suppress transient overvoltage.
