(1) The manuscript review process adopts the digital acquisition and editing system, including initial evaluation, manuscripts assignment, preliminary review, external review, second review and final review.
(2) The manuscripts passed the initial evaluation will be assigned to the editors according to the principle of "Assign the manuscripts equally, assign the manuscripts to editors whom familiar with this areas”. Authors of manuscripts rejected at this stage will be informed with the reasons of rejection.
(3) Editors are in charge of the preliminary review of the manuscripts. The manuscripts will be sent to experts for external review after passing the preliminary review. Authors of manuscripts rejected at this stage will be informed with the reasons of rejection.
(4) On consideration of the content of the manuscripts, the manuscripts will then be assigned to appropriate experts for further review. Manuscripts are forwarded to at least two reviewers for double-blind peer review, each of whom will make a recommendation to accept, reject, or modify the manuscript within 15 days. Manuscripts for review must be treated as confidential documents. The double-blind peer review is strictly implemented, with the submissions reviewed anonymously by external reviewers from the same field of expertises. Experts from the same unit of the authors won’t be selected as peer reviewers.
(5) The cycles of initial evaluation, assigning manuscripts ,preliminary review,anonymous review by external experts, contacting authors to revise manuscripts are less than two working days.
