1. Scope
Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation is a professional core electrical instrumentation technology journal. It mainly reports the measurement methods of the electromagnetic parameters, measuring instruments, meters, power measurement test system and non-electrical measuring techniques. Today, as the digital technique, microelectronic technique and the computer technique become popular, most of the new techniques offer opportunities for the traditional electromagnetic measurement. Digital measurement, modular instrument structure, high-speed data acquisition and transmission and automation measurement, intelligence and virtualization all together enable measurement with a revolutionary breakthrough. The function, performance, measurement speed, reliability and usability of the meter are also increased and improved. Our publication is willing to offer this technosphere a forward, transfer and exchange garden.
2. Main Columns
Right now, the magazine has the following columns: conclusion and special subject comment, theory and experiment study, measurement and control technology, electric power and power system, validation technology and device, smart grid, product design and analysis, power demand side discussion, lecture etc. The authors can compose your paper according to the columns. 3. Manuscript writing requirements
Considering our editorial orientation and the needs of searching and statistics of the technical scientific treatise, the authors should fulfill the following requirements:
1)The content of the paper must fit for our magazine, The article should mainly talk about the practical techniques with a new idea, steming from the practice and being applied to practice. The short article is welcomed, with monograph 6000 words, conclusion and others 8000words including chart and table.
2)For the authors who want to contribute, the best way is to enter http://www.emijournal.net, click ‘contribution’ and fill the information to register and contribute. Arthors include coauthors must offer correct name, unit, province, city , post number and a brief introduction of the author which includes name, birthday, work, position, degree and research area, mailing address, E-mail and telephone number.
3)Requirements for the ariticles: accurat and fefine subject, concise and comprehensive narration, using Song typeface No.5 to compose, national standard prickle and physical quantity; the foreign words should be wriote clearly; the references musy be according to the sequence; the chart and table should corespond with the article; attached map could be drew by Protel or Visio and offer the original program file; color of the graph should be black, word Song typeface No.6; all of these must be marked clearly.
4)There should be an abstract with the contribution about 200 words and three to eight keywords. The references should have information such as authors, provinances and time.
5)The writer is responsible for the consequences of the contribution.
6)We will present the issue on which the article published as a gift to the author. Because of the short of staff, if you don’t receive an issue letter in three months, you can handle the contribution by yourself.
4. Manuscript Handling
1)Online Submission
Please login our official website http://www.emijournal.net for submitting manuscript and trace the manuscript process. Communication authors should fill in the accurate communication information so that editorial office can send sample issues and contribution fee. Manuscript should adopt Microsoft Word format.
2)Manuscript Handling and Acceptance
Upon receiving a manuscript, author will get a manuscript number. Editorial office will give a final decision on a manuscript within 90 days. Authors can terminate a manuscript handling beyond the time. After the peer review and editorial office final review, the manuscripts will be told accepted or rejected. For rejected manuscripts, editorial office will not reserve original manuscripts.
3)Manuscript Publishing
After proofreading by authors, the accepted manuscripts will be published. The final proof should not be modified largely, or else the manuscripts will be treated as a new submission or be postponed.
4)Academic Ethic
The submitting manuscript should be original. Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation oppose plagiarism in any form.
5. Copyright and Other Items
1) Upon acceptance, Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation enjoys all copyrights to the manuscripts, for example publishing the manuscripts in the form of CD or electronic version, being indexed in domestic and international database, if the authors opposed, please give a statement in the manuscripts. This journal has licensed the relevant retrieval system indexing in this journal at home and abroad to use, reproduce, and disseminate the articles published in this journal in the mode of digitization. After being published, editorial office should pay article fee to authors and send two sample issues. The payment has included the charge for using DC and electronic version copyright. Authors are deemed to agree with the above statement upon submitting their articles to this journal.
2) Manuscripts submitted by college students, authors should provide the tutors to editorial office. If the manuscript is prepared to be accepted, tutors should assist to check the manuscripts’ academic honesty.
3) Manuscripts should be written according the template of Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation.
4) Manuscripts should be fluent, concise, comprehensive, and convincing.
6. Licence
Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation complies with the "CC BY-NC 4.0" agreement, allowing users to use, transfer, and copy the documents within the journal, not making any derivative works based on the published papers in the journal, and not using for commercial purposes.
7. Fees and Charges
For the accepted manuscripts, Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation will charge a certain fee (about 500 RMB per page, at most 12 pages) to support the publication and production. The fee notice will be sent to authors via email.
8. Open access
Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation is an open access journal, which allows any non-commercial users or institutions to freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purposes. When users cite the papers of the journal, they should indicate the name of the original authors, publication dates, source website and whether modifying the original works. Without the consents of the original authors and Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation, the published papers (works) or derivative works can’t be used for commercial purposes. Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation conforms to the definition given by DOAJ.
9. Correction and retraction
If scientific errors or allegations of academic misconduct are discovered after the publication of a paper, the editorial committee will take appropriate measures to address the issue. After consulting with experts, if the errors do not affect the scientific quality and originality of the paper, the editorial committee will request the author to submit corrections and resubmit the paper, ensuring updates are made in relevant research literature. In the event of evidence of academic misconduct, the editorial committee will take action to retract the paper from relevant databases and contact the author's institution. Additionally, the author will be blacklisted, meaning their submissions will not be accepted for publication for a period of two years.
10. Archiving and retrieving of the published issues
All the printed issues of Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation since 1964 had been archived in National Library of China. All the electronic issues are allowed to be retrieved from Official website of the journal as well as reputable databases such as CNKI and Wanfang Dada.
