      In principle, the research of an amorphous electronic transformer is used to lower the power consumption in electronic energy meter design. Ordinary transformer principle, amorphous electronic transformer principle and the comparison of two types of transformers are introduced to show the advantages of amorphous electronic transformer. There is a wide range of application prospects on low energy consumption electronic energy meter design based on amorphous electronic transformer.
