In order to maximize the income and wind energy utilization, doubly fed induction generators (DFIGs) usually operate in maximum power point tracking, but in this scenario the wind turbines have no spare capacity for grid-connected system to adjust. Based on the analysis of the control methods of active power of DFIGS, this paper proposes a coordinated control strategy of increasing wind generator rotor speed and adjusting pitch angle to accomplish the deloaded operating of DFIGS and capture adjustable capacity. Detailed simulation study verifies the correctness and feasibility of the proposed control strategy by establishing the model in PSACD.
