With the leap-forward development of renewable energy, large-scale wind power integration poor consumption leads to serious wind power abandoned. In the environment of smart grid, self response load with good elasticity is beneficial to reduce the influence of wind power volatility on grid security and improve the utilization rate of wind power resource. According to the characteristics of the load demand response, a load elasticity model is established based on the market supply and demand ratio, and the influence of load elasticity on system consumptive capacity of wind power is analyzed. On the basis of the data of 10 machines system and 1 wind farm, three kinds of modes of wind power consumption are compared, the final results show that the load elasticity can reduce the abandon wind power effectively, improve the system"s ability of wind power consumption, and provide a reliable guarantee for safe and economic operation of power systems.
