In the galloping monitoring of transmission line, there is a great diversity in results and performance of all kinds of transmission line monitoring equipment from different enterprises because of the absence of national standard industrial standard. In order to cope with this, a verification system on transmission line galloping monitoring equipment based on light curtain sensors is introduced to test and evaluate different monitoring equipment, which could offer a basis for entering power grid to all transmission line galloping monitoring equipment.
