With the deep research on grid-connected doubly fed induction generator, it can’t be neglected about the harm grid voltage swells have caused to DFIG based wind turbines, especially financial loss and device damage. In order to study the characteristic about symmetrical voltage swells, the paper builds a 1.5MW DFIG model based on vector control and a strategy for fuzzy controller with dynamic-virtual-resistor is proposed. Not only enervating the generator output voltage and current fluctuation, but making them smooth and dampening oscillation generally about 5%-10% more than before. A simulation results verify the efficiency of the proposed strategy based on Matlab/simulink.
