Time delays exist in the transmission signal of modern power systems, and it may bring about the failure of system control equipment, thus result in the instability of systems. With a view to the multiple time delay coupling and some microvariations uncertain parameters, a new robust stability criteria for power systems with multiple time delays and uncertain parameters is issued in this paper. It is noted that The applicationof a new handing method of integral inequality and a free matrix introduced will effectively reduce the conservatism of the result, and especially that some uncertain parameters can be effectively handled by adopting the Schur theorem. Finally, taking examples of the single-machine infinite-bus system and a typical second-order time-delay system and to verify the efficiency and superiority of the proposed approach for the robust stability analysis for power systems with multiple time delays and uncertain parameters by using the liner matrix inequality(LMI) control box.
