In order to compensate the three-phase unbalanced current caused by the unbalanced load in the microgrid, based on the analysis of the three-phase unbalanced current characteristics, an unbalanced current compensation strategy based on the Double Second-Order Generalized Integrator (DSOGI) is proposed.. Firstly, the separation principle of positive and negative sequence components of the unbalanced current is analyzed. The characteristics of Second Order Generalized Integral (SOGI) is studied as well. It brings about a fundamental wave positive sequence current detection method based on DSOGI. Secondly, based on this proposition, a compensation of strategy provides the support for three-phase asymmetric current. Finally, simulation verification is carried out in PSCAD/EMTDC. The result shows that the compensation strategy has a good effect on the imbalance of the three-phase load.
