There are many factors such as low data transmission efficiency, lack of data collection indicators, and equipment online rate cannot be monitored in real time Kind of malpractice. This paper proposes a data acquisition front-end method for high-concurrent acquisition of million-level energy meters. This method is based on the optical fiber communication technology TCP/IP protocol and have realized the meter reading function of the energy meter data return, high-speed broadband Internet access function, real-time data transmission and intelligent data processing function. The experimental test results show that the new smart meter data collection scheme can be complete realize the design function, the device runs stably, and the network speed test result is satisfactory. The success rate of concurrent acquisition can reach 99.7%. This method provides a new way for smart grid interaction, informatization and automation.
