In the past ten years, it has been the golden period for the development of smart energy meter in China. The quality of Chinese smart energy meter has achieved great-leap-forward development, and the competitiveness of domestic enterprises of electric energy meter has been significantly improved,and they have started to go abroad to compete with other enterprises of electric energy meter in the world.Three generations of symbolic national standard systems lead the development of electric energy meter industry, and the technology-led intelligent electric energy meter standard system is the key to promote the development of electric energy meter industry.In this paper, the development direction of standard system for measurement technology will be discussed from the perspectives of diversified measurement technology standard system, diversified structure type standard system, multi-scenario application function standard system, and life cycle credibility evaluation system of smart energy meter.
