The development of submarine noise reduction technology has led to the difficulty for traditional sonar equipments to detect a submarine, so there is more demand of non-acoustics antisubmarine detecting technology , and magnetic anomaly detection method is one of better future. Magnetic anomaly detection needs high-precision magnetic probes, so this paper analyzes the requirement of the magnetic probes based on the principle of magnetic anomaly detection. With the analysis of the high-precision fluxgate probe, the probe is found to have the characteristic of large errors in the total field measurement, and its non-availability is discussed. At last, the selection of magnetic measurement probes for submarine detection is analyzed.
