In this paper, based on index system, a method is proposed for the assessment of energy efficiency for smart power consumption communities. In view of the characteristics of smart power consumption communities, an initial index system is established from three aspects of residential customers, power grids and environment. The initial index system is optimized by Delphi method, so the validity and reliability of the index is guaranteed. In order to overcome the limitation of traditional index-weighted methods, the primary index assessment is based on analytic hierarchy process and secondary index assessment is based on improved entropy method. Finally, based on comprehensive evaluation method, the comprehensive energy efficiency evaluation model is established. Case analysis shows the high reliability and operability of the index system, and evaluation the energy efficiency of smart power consumption effectively and objectivity.
