This paper first analyzed the voltage characteristics of the fault phase and its influence factors when the condition of open-phase running after single-phase grounding protection operated occurs. On this basis, the impedance characteristics of wind power and conventional energy were studied. The recovery voltage model of fault phase was constructed in PSCAD, and the influence of fault properties, type of wind turbine, tie line arrangement modes as well as voltage level on the recovery voltage was simulated and studied. Finally adaptive reclosing strategy based on capacitive coupling voltage that can reliably distinguish transient from permanent fault properties was proposed. Simulation results showed that the method principle is simple, easy to implement, free?of fault resistance and with high sensitivity.
