For traditional marine inverter, free tracking of sinusoidal signal without static error is difficult, and the harmonic control effect is poor. For this reason this paper presents a space vector pulse width modulation control strategy based on PI and improved proportional resonant control. The PR controller can track the alternating signal without static error under the specific frequency, and then the active and reactive current components under the traditional vector control are converted to the static coordinate system without tedious calculation. Simulation results based on PSCAD/EMTDC show that the proposed method can reduce the harmonic factor and the voltage distortion rate obviously compared to the traditional PI control. The feasibility of the proposed method is verified by the experiment of a demonstration project.
