According to the requirements of smart home in smart grid environment and the situation of China’s smart home industry, a three-level index system for assessing the smart electricity consumption of smart home is built with three principles of comprehensiveness, typicality and objectivity. Based on the smart grid’s traits of automation, information and interactivity, the index system is constructed with three aspects as intellectualization of home appliances, interactivity between users and power company, visualization of energy consumption information, and the detail description of each index is given next. Then the comprehensive weight model based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and graph theory and fuzzy comprehensive assessment model based on fuzzy mathematics are proposed to evaluate two intelligent communities about the aspects of smart home. And the results show that the index system and evaluation method have a better performance for communities’ smart home level, which is in line with their actual situations.
