The development of smart grid provides hardware support for thermostatically-controlled loads’ participating in power grid dispatching. To study the capacity characteristic of energy support provided by the residential thermostatically-controlled load, this thesis has classified and introduced the residential loads, then builds the physical model of individual thermostatically-controlled load based on its working characteristic. OnStheSbasisSofSthisSmodel, aggregation models of community thermostatically-controlled loads are established by kernelSsmoothing technique, then the variation characteristics of aggregated load power requirements and related parameters can be obtained. Finally, the relevant analysis of the schedulable community thermostatically-controlled loads is made, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the simulationSresults.
